County Community Action Committee received a $400,000
Community Development Block Grant for Mountain Village West, a
30-unit family rental housing development within walking distance of Deep Creek
Lake. The development provides affordable workforce housing for the employees
of the tourism industry in and around Deep Creek Lake and Wisp Ski Resort.
